Pachelbel - Hexachordum Apollinis - Chaconne

ohann Pachelbel (1653-1706) is of course best known for his Canon, which is played at least once a week on a classical program somewhere in the U.S. The Hexachordum is a set of six Partitas, each of which is an air with 5, 6, or 8 variations while the much shorter Chaconne is an air with 8 variations.
